Accord high priority to filling the Judges vacancies

Yet to Start

3 positions (10%) of Justices in Supreme Court, (41%) of Judges in High Courts and 4,166 judges posts (20%) District & Sub-Courts are lying vacant according to the newsletter issued by Supreme Court of India in April 2017.  This is against the 10% vacancy in Supreme Court, 28% in High Courts and 21% in district and sub-Courts before BJP was voted to power.

Since there is marginal decrease in vacant posts of judges in district and sub-courts from 21% to 20%  and a considerable increase in judges’ vacancies in High Courts, from 28% to 41%, the performance against this promise has been classified as “Yet to Start”
