Accord high priority to filling the Judges vacancies

Broken

Given below is the status of judges vacancy across Courts mapped to the latest timeline of the data available.

Supreme Court: 4 judges position vacant out of 31 i.e. 13% vacancy (as on 01.12.2018)

High Courts: 384 judges position vacant out of 1079 i.e. 36% vacant  (as on 01.12.2018)

District and Sub-ordinate Courts: 5,135 judges position vacant  out of 22,644 i.e. 23% vacant (as on 30.09.2018).

Clearly, the high vacancies in Courts shows that the high priority has not been accorded to the filling of judges vacancy and the government’s performance leaves our country and its citizens much wanting.
