Put in place strict measures and special courts to stop hoarding and black marketing

Broken

By Rashmi Singh

No special courts have been set up to stop hoarding and black marketeering. No progress has been made with regard to the amendment making hoarding a non-bailable offence.

No strict measure has been initiated by the government. Their steps, thus far, are limited to issuing advisories to State governments for strict enforcement of essential Commodities Act, 1955, and the Prime Minister urging the States to  set up special courts.

Hence, the promise is considered “Broken”
