Mechanism would be set up for a performance audit of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) by means of real-time information

The BJP government launched Shagun in January 2017 to monitor the state level progress of SSA in Elementary Education. However, the portal doesn’t have any real time data  with regard to implementation of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

No real time data is publicly available.  The reports section on the portal does not work despite multiple clicks. No criteria for the performance audit has been laid out by the Ministry. Since the government has made only the portal live with regard to performance against this promise, this is considered “Broken” in the absence of any real time data available.
