The Department of Agriculture & Cooperation approved the Price Stabilisation Fund (PSF) with a corpus of Rs. 500 Crores. This will support market interventions for price control of perishable agri-horticultural commodities. In the 2016-17 Budget the allocation was increased from Rs.500 to Rs.900 Crores.
